Adding a unique identifier (ID) to Conversations allows you to match these Conversations to particular clinical cases.
If a Conversation is linked to a patient or a specific health record, you can add a unique ID, for instance, an NHS patient number, which will allow you to follow and retrieve it, whenever necessary.
What can a unique ID be?
You can choose from a variety of unique ID types, such as:
How can I add a unique ID?
When you create a Conversation, you will be given the option to add a unique ID, by simply selecting from the dropdown menu. This will facilitate cross-referencing across your systems.
What are the benefits of a unique ID and how can I use it?
You can also use the unique ID as a “label” to categorise Conversations, e.g. by therapy area or importance!
The unique ID also helps you safely gather information about your patients or team, and quickly retrieve it at a later point.
Just search the unique ID on the website search bar, and all conversations that match the ID will be ready for you to view and access.
Do you have any ideas for useful ID categories that you think we could add to our drop-down menu? Get in touch!
